Biografie

Oliver Ressler, geboren 1970 in Knittelfeld, Österreich, lebt und arbeitet in Wien.

1989 – 1995 Hochschule für angewandte Kunst, Wien (A)

Oliver Ressler ist ein Künstler und Filmemacher, der Installationen, Arbeiten im Außenraum und Filme zu Themen wie Ökonomie, Demokratie, Klimawandel, Widerstandsformen und gesellschaftlichen Alternativen realisiert. Über die Jahre hat er dabei mit den KünstlerInnen Zanny Begg (Sydney), Ines Doujak (Wien), Martin Krenn (Wien), Carlos Motta (New York), Gregory Sholette (New York) und David Thorne (Los Angeles) und mit dem Politikwissenschaftler Dario Azzellini (Berlin/New York) an Projekten zusammengearbeitet.
