Jede Fotografie zeigt ein Parlament, das mit einer \u00fcberdimensionalen Fahne verh\u00fcllt ist. An den unteren Bildrand ist ein Zitat des US-amerikanischen Historikers und Politikwissenschaftlers Howard Zinn gesetzt: \u201eKeine Fahne ist <\/em>gro\u00df genug, die Schande der T\u00f6tung unschuldiger Menschen zu verdecken.\u201c Dieser 1986 in Reaktion auf die Bombardierung von Tripolis durch die USA formulierte Satz dr\u00e4ngt sich angesichts der Fl\u00fcchtlingstrag\u00f6dien an den Grenzen der Europ\u00e4ischen Union wieder in Erinnerung. Die Abschottungspolitik der Europ\u00e4ischen Union, die von den Mitgliedsstaaten mitgetragen wird, ist f\u00fcr den Tod tausender Fl\u00fcchtlinge verantwortlich. Galt die Fahne zu Zeiten des Eisernen Vorhangs noch als Symbol, unter dem Schw\u00e4chere Schutz finden sollten, bildet sie nunmehr einen Deckmantel, unter dem menschenrechtsfeindliche Entscheidungen gef\u00e4llt und in Gesetze gegossen werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
