Es handelt sich also um eine Negation des Bestehenden, die Feststellung, dass \u201cetwas fehlt\u201d, aber auch das zwangsl\u00e4ufig unvollkommene Bekenntnis zu dem, was (noch) nicht ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das Projekt erkundet utopische Projektionen, die der Abspaltung \u2013 der Sezession \u2013 von unserer konkreten Gegenwart und dem Widerstand gegen sie dienen k\u00f6nnten. Bei dieser \u201cnegativen\u201d oder \u201ckritischen\u201d Version des utopischen \u201cImpulses\u201d geht es nicht nur um Satire oder die Auflistung dessen, was mit unserer Welt nicht stimmt (als k\u00f6nnte eine solche Auflistung die Welt \u00e4ndern). Utopie ist vielmehr die Behauptung des Unrealisierten <em>im Realen und gegen das Reale<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Den Auftakt zu \u201cUtopian Pulse \u2013 Flares in the Darkroom\u201d bildete der <strong>SALON KLIMBIM<\/strong> am 23. Januar 2014, orchestriert vom K\u00fcnstler-Kurator Fahim Amir und von Ines Doujak in Korrespondenz mit Oliver Ressler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-vimeo wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-vimeo wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Salon Klimbim\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/129263354?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"700\" height=\"394\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><figcaption>Ines Doujak &amp; Oliver Ressler, \u201cSalon Klimbim\u201d, 18 Min., HD, AT 2015<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Von Februar bis September 2014 wurden unter dem Titel <strong>URGENT ALTERNATIVES: UTOPIAN MOMENTS<\/strong> sieben gro\u00dfformatige Transparente (9 x 3,4 Meter) an der Fassade der Secession pr\u00e4sentiert. Die Aufst\u00e4nde und sozialen Bewegungen der letzten Jahre bildeten dabei die inhaltliche Klammer. Die beteiligten K\u00fcnstler_innen waren eingeladen, den utopischen Impuls dieser Aktionen und Bewegungen in den Blick zu nehmen. Ab 11. September 2014 zeigten und diskutierten sie in der Galerie der Secession zwei Monate lang eigene Arbeiten und die anderer K\u00fcnstler_innen, wobei die Beitr\u00e4ge der einzelnen Salons nicht lediglich hintereinander gezeigt, sondern miteinander verkn\u00fcpft wurden. Die Er\u00f6ffnungen der Salons fanden w\u00f6chentlich, jeweils am Mittwoch statt. Diese Form des Arbeitens soll, unabh\u00e4ngig von ihrer konkreten Gestalt, auch eine Befragung scheinbar fixer Rollenbilder im Feld der Kunst sein.
