September 2021 wurden an der U2-Station Hausfeldstra\u00dfe Baumaschinen blockiert, um den Bau der Lobau-Autobahn und der sogenannten \u201eStadtstra\u00dfe\u201c zu stoppen. Als die Stadt Wien sich entschied, auch nach der Absage des Lobau-Tunnels durch Umweltministerin Gewessler am Bau der Stadtstra\u00dfe festzuhalten, wurden Holzgeb\u00e4ude errichtet, um die Besetzung \u00fcber den Winter hindurch aufrechtzuerhalten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" f\u00fcnf Monaten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201eDie W\u00fcste lebt\u201c gliedert sich anhand von drei Gespr\u00e4chsrunden, in denen beteiligte Aktivist*innen vor der Kamera den jeweils aktuellen Stand der Besetzung diskutieren. In der im Oktober 2021 gefilmten Gespr\u00e4chsrunde werden die Geschichte der Besetzung, die Zusammenarbeit der unterschiedlichen politischen Gruppen und Fragen der Organisierung besprochen. Die zweite Gespr\u00e4chsrunde ist ein Notfallplenum, das unmittelbar nach der Aufl\u00f6sung der Versammlung durch die Polizei am 9. Dezember 2021 einberufen wurde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-vimeo wp-block-embed-vimeo wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Desert Lives (excerpt)\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/760649088?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"700\" height=\"394\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write; encrypted-media\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><meta charset=\"utf-8\">\u201cThe Desert Lives\u201d, 55 min., 4K, 2022<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Die dritte Gespr\u00e4chsrunde fand im Januar 2022 in der f\u00fcr den Widerstand ikonischen 3-st\u00f6ckigen Holzpyramide statt. <em>Lobau bleibt <\/em>war zu diesem Zeitpunkt unterschiedlichen Formen der Repression ausgesetzt \u2013 was die gefilmten Gespr\u00e4che in der Pyramide pr\u00e4gt. So hat die Kanzlei Jarolim im Auftrag der Stadt Wien an 50 Personen anwaltliche Einsch\u00fcchterungsbriefe verschickt, um kritische Stimmen gegen die Stadtautobahn mundtot zu machen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alle im Film vorkommenden Geb\u00e4ude, darunter die Pyramide, wurden am 1.
